Built for two adults and one or two children under twelve, in a villa with its own pool and a door straight onto it. The picnic on the second day is the thing children talk about on the flight home: a blanket on the sand, fish cakes and spring rolls, and ice cream that arrives without being asked for.
The parents get Wild Wood at sunrise and the sauna at sunset, one at a time. Everyone gets the beach. Under-sixes stay and eat free, and six-to-elevens are half price — which is the line we put at the top, because no one else does.
