The Living Stay
What a Living Stay is
Six chapters, one ritual, and no appointment book.
Not a spa, and not a programme you buy. A Living Stay is simply a way of using this place. Everything the resort has falls into six chapters, and one of them — heat and cold water — has a ritual at its centre that most guests end up building their day around. None of it costs extra while you are staying, and none of it needs booking.
The six chapters
Six is enough to cover everything and few enough to remember. Staff are trained on the same six, so whoever you ask knows what you mean.
The signature chapter, and the one with a ritual attached — the Tide Circuit, below. All of it sits together at the quiet end of the beach beside Wild Wood, so heat, cold and sea are within thirty seconds of each other.
Wild Wood is 200 sqm of beach with handmade wooden rigs on it. Sand is a harder floor to train on than a gym and a kinder one to land on, which is the point. Best before nine, while it is still cool.
The chapter most holidays skip and most guests need. Massage salas at both ends of the beach, hammocks in the garden, and villas set back far enough from the road that you sleep through the night.
Breakfast by the pool, lunch and dinner facing the sea at King Prawn. The kitchen cooks Southern Thai properly — the food of this coast, not a hotel version of it.
What heat does for the skin, plus the hour before sunset when the light comes down the beach sideways. Thai herbal compress and scrubs are arranged at reception.
The sauna at six in the evening is communal, and it is where solo travellers stop being solo. Company is a wellness practice; we treat it as one.
Chapter 1 · Heat & Water
The Tide Circuit
Hot, cold, sea, rest — and again. The ritual at the centre of the first chapter. Around forty-five minutes, and the only thing you need to bring is a towel. Nobody supervises you and nothing is timed for you; the sequence below is simply the one that works.

When to leave it for another day
Heat and cold are strong tools. Please skip the Circuit — and enjoy the beach, the pool and a massage instead — if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or high blood pressure, take medication for either, have epilepsy, have had surgery recently, or are under sixteen. Never after alcohol. If in doubt, ask your doctor before you travel rather than reception when you arrive.
Where all this happens
Everything in the first two chapters sits in one corner of the beach, at the southern end past LeeLaVaDee Park: the gym on the sand, and the sauna, steam room, ice bath and jacuzzi a few steps behind it, with a yoga shala between them and the water.
